Everything is going to the Birds!

Right before this stay at home stuff started my family and I made a quick four day trip to Florida to visit some relatives. They live on Merritt Island, more famous for the Space Center, than anything else. Around the Space Center are thousands of acres of the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. Equipped with my trusty camera and my long lens and aided by my brother in law and his wife, we drove for several miles in the refuge looking for wildlife. Alligators were not as plentiful as I had hoped, but the bird life was spectacular! I came home with a couple thousand bird photos, some of which have evolved into paintings. Until just recently the weather has not been nice enough to spend time outside, so I had two choices, one, help the little wife in all the hundreds of things she decided had to be done inside, like immediately, or spend time in the studio painting my water birds. So far the wife's projects and my bird paintings are tied about 50-50. I guess, rightfully so, most people aren't concerned about buying art, so my art coffers have run dry. But that's OK, with everyone working to get trough this, we'll get it licked and get back to some of the better things in life. So, be safe and be careful so that I can see you sometime in the future! I'll still put new art on the website, so I hope everyone can enjoy it! Take care!
