On my most recent trip to Florida I almost missed this fellow since he didn't have any really outstanding, contrasting color markings, but then I noticed his green legs and feet. This was certainly different from most of the other water birds I had seen which a majority of them had yellow or yellowish/orange legs and feet. A few had dark gray or black, but none had green. It seems when I get into a situation where there are lots of photo opportunities, my camera appears to have a mind of its own. Since I had the photo and plenty time to paint, he became my painting "Green Stockings".
Paintings are shipped without mat or frame either flat or rolled in a tube.
