During a recent trip to Florida we visited the Everglades. While driving back some dirt roads bordering the Everglades, I came across a small bridge crossing a stream which spread out on both sides of the bridge to form dangerous looking swamps filled with an assortment of alligators, turtles, (and I'm sure snakes) and birds. This snowy egret was sitting on a log bathed in a shaft of sunlight with the dark shade of the swamp all around it. My camera captured the moment and this is my interpretation of of what I saw. This painting was recently shown in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's Juried Exhibition in Warren, PA.
Paintings are shipped without mat or frame either flat or rolled in a tube.
